Spirit Airlines plane evacuated at Detroit Metro Airport due to bomb threat

ROMULUS, Mich. – A Spirit Airlines flight headed to Los Angeles had all its passengers deplaned at Detroit Metro Airport.
It happened Thursday morning at about 9 a.m.
According to the Wayne County Airport Authority, all passengers were deplaned and transported to the Evans Terminal due to a bomb threat.
Spirit Airlines said guests were rescreened as law enforcement inspected and cleared the aircraft.
