Hundreds of workers at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital are on strike Monday morning.
Nearly 400 OPEIU Local 40 nurses went on strike at 7 a.m. on June 9 over unfair labor practices. The strike is expected to last for three days.
According to the union, this is the second strike in less than two years at the former community hospital and reportedly the first strike against Henry Ford in its 110-year history.
Royal Oak City Commission to vote on Sheetz gas station
Leaders on the Royal Oak City Commission will vote on a proposal to allow Sheetz to build a gas station at the intersection of 14 Mile and Coolidge.
Earlier this year, the city approved a conditional zoning request that would pave the way for construction to start on the new gas station.

Individuals who visited the medical office building at 3950 S. Rochester Road, in Rochester Hills, on the corner of Rochester Road and South Boulevard on Tuesday, June 3, anytime between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. may have been exposed to measles.
If you think you were exposed to measles at this location on June 3, Immune Globulin (IG) treatment is effective within six days of exposure for high-risk individuals.
