Royal Oak City Commission to vote on Sheetz gas station City approved zoning request in February
ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Leaders on the Royal Oak City Commission will vote on a proposal to allow Sheetz to build a gas station at the intersection of 14 Mile and Coolidge.
Earlier this year, the city approved a conditional zoning request that would pave the way for construction to start on the new gas station.

Many in the community raised concerns about the development, citing traffic and increased noise in the area.
On June 9, 2025, the commission will meet in Royal Oak City Hall at 7:30 p.m.
