Police searching for suspect in double shooting on Detroit’s east side

DETROIT – Detroit Police are searching for the gunman responsible for a double shooting on the city’s east side.

Investigators said it happened late Tuesday night near Coram Street and Rex Avenue. The shooting left a man dead, and another person was injured.

Details are limited, but police said their investigation indicated that this appeared to be a domestic dispute. It’s not known at this time regarding the nature of the relationship between the two victims.

Officials said the injured victim was rushed to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
