DETROIT – Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information regarding a shooting that took place in Downtown Detroit just before the Ford Fireworks.

It happened just after 10 p.m. Monday, June 23, near the intersection of Larned and Randolph streets.
According to authorities, a young man of unknown age was in a fight with a 17-year-old boy when he pulled out a gun and shot the teen. An innocent bystander -- only identified as a 22-year-old woman -- was also shot.
Both victims were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police said the suspected gunman and another person escaped by running through a parking garage.
Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information in the shooting. Tips must include the case number 2506230426.
