WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – A Novi man is accused of embezzling more than $400,000 from a Livonia sports complex.
Todd Edward McIntyre, 28, allegedly embezzled over $400,000 from the Livonia Athletic District sports complex on Stark Road while he was the general manager there between July 2022 and October 2024.
He was terminated from his position on Oct. 16, 2024.
McIntyre was arraigned on July 3, 2025, on one charge of embezzlement. His bond was set at $750,000.
McIntyre’s probable cause conference is scheduled for July 10.
The Livonia Athletic District released the following statement:
“We are aware of the criminal charges filed against former General Manager Todd McIntyre. Livonia Athletic District has fully cooperated with the investigation leading up to these charges.
We thank the Livonia Police Department, Special Operations Unit, and the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for their thorough work and continued pursuit of justice.
At this time, we will not be providing further comments."
