Weather: Cooler with sunshine in Metro Detroit, but potential storms and humidity returning this week

It’s a significantly cooler start to the day across the Metro areas as overnight lows dipped to either side of 60. However, this could possibly be the pick day of the week with dry and seasonable conditions on tap. Highs will be in the mid-80s under sunny skies with lower humidity. With that said, humidity will begin to rise overnight and lows will not be as cool as we drop into the upper 60s.

More humid conditions build in Wednesday, bringing an increasing potential for showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected, but locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds are possible. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
