Uncle Sam Jam returns to Woodhaven for weekend of free family fun

There are over 40 carnival rides, a petting zoo, and live music by local and regional artists

WOODHAVEN, Mich. – One of Michigan’s most prominent free festivals returned on July 10 to Woodhaven!

The “Uncle Sam Jam” is an annual tradition in the Downriver community’s Independence Day celebrations.

There are over 40 carnival rides, a petting zoo, and live music by local and regional artists.

If you missed out on Thursday, don’t worry, the fun returns to Civic Center Park Friday (July 11) and runs all weekend long!

The heat will be something you’ll want to plan for, though.
