Some FedEx customers will experience a delay in receiving their packages for a short time after a fire broke out inside a truck at the Lodge Freeway.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (July 16) as Local 4 cameras were rolling as workers cleaned out charred packages.
We reached out to FedEx, who told us that there were no injuries.
FedEx said it is actively reaching out to affected shippers about damaged packages.
Customers can also ask questions about shipments on FedEx.com.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the first responders who worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
