Police say it was reported that two men in a pickup truck had motioned to two young children who were on scooters before the vehicle allegedly followed them to their Bloomfield Village home.
Officers tried to locate the vehicle, which is described as an older, extended-cab or quad-cab pickup truck that is dark in color, in the area north of Maple and West of Chesterfield.
An investigation is underway to identify the vehicle and the two men.
Since the interaction happened on the Birmingham/Bloomfield border, both agencies are investigating.
Anyone who might have seen something on Monday or has any information about what happened is asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248-433-7755 or the Birmingham Police Department at 248-530-1870.
