‘Touch-and-Go’ maneuver leads to plane crash in Oakland County; no injuries were reported

Police are now investigating to determine the cause of the crash

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A flight training session turned into a close call after an airplane crashed during a training session in Oakland County.

The crash occurred on Wednesday (July 23) around 11 a.m. when the instructor and student, who were uninjured, were doing the “Touch and go maneuver” at Oakland Southwest Airport.

Police are now investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
