CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A new restaurant is now open in the space formerly occupied by Bobcat Bonnie’s at Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township.
Mr. Miguels Mexican Grill and Cantina opened its doors to mall shoppers on July 23.
The spot marks the fifth Mr. Miguel’s to open in metro Detroit, with the others located in downtown Utica, Warren, Livonia, and Brownstown Township.
There is a courtyard in front of the building by a water fountain, where a patio is expected to be constructed.
Diners will find a colorful, vibrant atmosphere as they enter the restaurant. Inside, guests will notice a milk-crate structure on the ceiling as well as other furnishings such as tiles imported from Mexico and bar shelves created by Ron Finch, an 85-year-old motorcycle builder.
The place is divided into two portions: a restaurant, with a series of high-tops, booths, and tables and chairs, and the bar.
Its menu includes fajitas, tacos, burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas and several birria dishes such as pizza and tacos. On the drinks side, Miguel’s has award-winning margaritas, tequilas, beer and other beverages.
Mr. Miguel’s offers two happy hours every day, from open-5 p.m. and 8 p.m.-close.
Mr. Miguel’s Mexican Grill & Cantina is located at Partridge Creek Mall, 17420 Hall Road, Clinton Township. Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and noon-9 p.m. Sunday.
