Not quite as hot today, but still warm and muggy with lingering chances for showers and non-severe thunderstorms towards the Ohio state line. Highs today top out in the mid to upper 80s and feeling like 90s with the heat index. More rounds of showers and storms are likely for Saturday and Saturday night.
Air Quality Advisory
An Air Quality Advisory remains in effect for Sanilac county until midnight due to wildfire smoke ushering in pollutants that will be unhealthy for sensitive groups.
Saturday Storms
When: A few storms could be strong to severe between 2PM and midnight Saturday.
Where: There is a marginal (level 1) risk for severe storms along and south of the I-96/I-696 corridor tomorrow.
Threats: Heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding. Damaging wind gusts and lightning will also be possible.
Storm Motion: SW to NE at 20-30 mph.
Sunday and Beyond
Hot and humid weather redevelops Sunday into the first part of next work week with highs back around 90.
