ROMULUS, Mich. – City officials are asking residents to stay off the roads in Romulus as Monday’s storms have caused flooding and downed power lines.
Officials say that, in addition to flooding, there are several downed wires across the city.

Emergency alert sirens have been activated to encourage residents to take cover until the storms pass through the city.
People should call 911 for emergencies and 734-941-8400 for non-emergencies, according to the city.
