DETROIT – Another fast casual restaurant is being added to the growing list of places to dine in Downtown Detroit.
Sweetgreen fast-causal eatery, known for its healthy salad and bowl foods will be steps away from Campus Martius and between the Detroit Water Ice Factory and Adelina Italian Restaurant.

Bedrock Detroit made the announcement on Instagram saying Sweetgreen is to open “soon.”
Sweetgreen’s plant-forward menu includes fresh offerings and selections of bowl foods with or without a variety of protein, various salads and sides. There are also protein plates and create your bowl options with an array of base ingredients, toppings and premium add-on ingredients. Bases include arugula, kale, spinach, spring mix, herbed quinoa, white or wild rice. There are more than a dozen dressing options.
Most bowls cost under $16. Sweetgreen salad prices range from $10 to $14. There also is a kid’s menu.

Sweetgreen is a welcome addition to our growing downtown portfolio, adding another healthy option — with its own distinct approach —for Detroiters to enjoy,” Naumann Idrees, Bedrock’s SVP of Leasing, said in the Instagram post.
This location will be the fifth in the state with locations in Birmingham, Ann Arbor, Rochester Hills and Troy. A Shelby Township location is set to open on Hall Rd. soon according to the Sweetgreen website.
