A Grosse Pointe man was sentenced to at least 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting a young relative in 2020.
Robert Allen DeClercq, 72, was convicted in May by a jury of two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for assaulting the young girl in the bathroom of his second home in Oscoda County in 2020.
DeClercq was sentenced on Aug. 18, 2025, to 25 to 60 years in prison.
