Detroit police seek help in identifying suspects involved in physical assault of 2 men

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information from the community regarding an aggravated assault.

The incident occurred on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at approximately 7:25 p.m., in the 1700 block of Michigan Avenue.

Police said the suspects physically assaulted two men (31 and 27) after a verbal altercation.

Officials said one of the victims was being treated at a Metro Detroit hospital for his injury.
