DETROIT – No one won the Powerball jackpot in Monday night’s drawing. However, someone won $1 million in Michigan.
Several $1 million winning Powerball tickets were sold nationwide, with one ticket being sold in Detroit.

According to the lottery company’s website, the winning ticket was sold at the CVS pharmacy located at 18585 E Warren Avenue.
Nationwide, ten tickets matched all five balls to win $1 million prizes. Those tickets were sold in California, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Two tickets matched all five white balls and increased their winnings to $2 million. The winning tickets were sold in Montana and North Carolina.
Additionally, there were 124 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and 25 tickets that won $150,000.
No one has won the Powerball jackpot since May 31, 2025.
As of Sept. 2, 2025, the jackpot is an estimated $1.3 billion.
If a person wins the jackpot on Wednesday, they can choose either an annuitized prize estimated at $1.3 billion or a lump sum payment estimated at $589 million.
