Deadly parking lot shooting leads to crash in Rochester Hills

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Police are trying to figure out who killed a man during a chaotic scene in Rochester Hills on Monday.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said it started as a fight in the parking lot of Fairfield Inn on Sept. 1.
After the fight, there was a car crash near Rochester Road and South Boulevard.
When deputies arrived at the hotel, they found two people shot. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second person sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the sheriff’s office, there were no serious injuries reported in the crash.
The sheriff’s office knows who at least three of the people involved are, but did not say if they were arrested.
