Police believe Hopson pulled out a knife and stabbed one man multiple times during an argument in the backyard before stabbing three others in the front yard.
He was arrested less than a week later.
Hopson was denied bond and remanded back to jail. His probable cause conference is scheduled for Sept. 16, followed by a preliminary examination on Sept. 23.
If convicted, Hopson faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison.
