ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University is hosting author John Green as part of its student life lecture board and Warner Vitality lecture series.
Green is the author of “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Looking for Alaska,” “An Abundance of Katherines,” “Paper Towns, “Turtles All the Way Down,” and “The Anthropocene Reviewed.” His most recent book, “Everything is Tuberculosis,” was released March 2025.
Green will be at OU at 7 p.m. September 25 in the Oakland Center Founders Ballrooms.
The lecture and discussion will be moderated by Mila Govich, award-winning actor and special lecturer of theatre in OU’s School of Music, Theatre and Dance.
The talk will highlight Green’s career as a New York Times bestselling author whose books have been published in more than 55 languages, with more than 24 million copies in print.
Green writes primarily young adult fiction, known for its realistic stories, thoughtful exploration of adolescence, and characters dealing with difficult issues like love, loss, and mental health.
The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary, but registration is required.
Attendees can submit a question that may be asked during John Green’s moderated interview. If the question is selected, you will receive a signed copy of John Green’s latest book and VIP seating.
