Detroit police seek public’s help identifying burglary suspects caught on camera

Police said the suspects exited the vehicles and used blunt objects to shatter the front door

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information from the community regarding a burglary.

The incident occurred on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at approximately 5:40 a.m., in the 100 block of Lenox Street, where unknown suspects pulled up to the recreational center in a Chrysler Pacifica and a newer model pickup truck.

Police said the suspects exited the vehicles and used blunt objects to shatter the front door.

Officials said the suspects then returned to the vehicles and fled the scene.

Police said the same suspects then went to the 14400 block of Gratiot Avenue and broke into the clothing store, stealing numerous clothing items.
