DETROIT – Eastern Market After Dark returns Thursday and will transform the market area into a creative district with live music, artwork, vendors, special activities and more.
The annual night market, which is part of Detroit Month of Design, draws thousands of visitors and offers people the chance to experience the city’s thriving art and design scene in action.
This year’s event runs from 6 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, and organizers have created a new tool to help people navigate it. It’s a new map that divides the market area into zones and lists food, beverage and retail vendors participating in the market.

Mural Locations
During the event, people can check out new murals painted by Detroit artists as part of the Mural in the Market festival.
This year marks the festival’s 10th anniversary, and from Sept. 15-22, several Detroit artists will be painting murals across Eastern Market.
