Investigation underway after man shot by police on Detroit’s east side
There is an active investigation underway following the shooting of a victim by police on Detroit’s east side. (KPRC2/Click2Houston.com)
DETROIT – There is an active investigation underway following the shooting of a man by police on Detroit’s east side.
The shooting occurred on Thursday (Sept. 18) on Moross and Kelly roads around 10 p.m.
Police tell Local 4 the man was armed and when officers approached him, he took off running.
During a chase, the man dropped a gun. When he went to pick up the gun, one officer opened fire. This is according to police.
Police say the man is in critical condition.
