DETROIT – A 28-year-old man from Brownstown will spend the next 19 years behind bars for producing child pornography.

According to authorities, the investigation began in 2023 when the father of a 13-year-old girl found naked photos of an adult man on his daughter’s phone. Homeland Security took over the case and identified Blake as living in Metro Detroit.

In early 2024, authorities searched Blake’s home and found more than 8,000 images and over 6,000 videos of child pornography on his devices. The material included infants, toddlers, and bestiality.

Blake reportedly admitted to downloading and sharing child pornography.

Authorities also said Blake frequently babysat children close to him, including those around 5 to 6 years old. Investigators later found videos and images on Blake’s phone showing him committing sex acts on children while they slept.

“This wicked man produced the vilest materials,” said U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon. “He committed appalling crimes against little children that were entrusted to his care.”
