What’s for dinner? If it was up to me, it would be pizza. Unpopular or popular opinion, I think pizza is good every day, but VegasInsider released a survey revealing the days when the most people are craving pizza.
Sporting events, holidays, and even the day of the week drive interest in pizza deliveries.
Results from Google search data revealed that Saturday is the most popular day to order pizza. Holidays like New Year’s Day and the day after Valentine’s Day led to pizza surges. Super Bowl Monday, in addition to having the highest search interest in pizza, has the biggest increase in demand from the prior week.

Jan. 1, 2025 – New Years Day had a demand increase of 31.58%
Feb. 9, 2025 – Super Bowl Sunday had a demand increase of 97.74%
Feb. 15, 2025 - Saturday (Day After Valentine’s Day) had a demand increase of 70.73%
March 15, 2025 – Saturday (College Basketball) had a demand increase of 63.93%
March 29, 2025 - Saturday (March Madness Elite 8 Games) had a demand increase of 53.13%
May 3, 2025 – Saturday had a demand increase of 51.84%
May 25, 2025 – Sunday (NBA playoffs) had a demand increase of 55.21%
July 5, 2025 – Saturday (day after 4th of July) had a demand increase of 45.63%
Aug. 9, 2025 – Saturday had a demand increase of 92.89%
Aug. 31, 2025 – Sunday had a demand increase of 69.49%
When it comes to the 5 states that order pizza the most, Delaware ranked 1 followed by Pennsylvania in second and Michigan number 3 then South Carolina and Ohio. The 5 states have the most searches of “pizza near me” on big game days.
