DETROIT – The Hudson’s Detroit development downtown is gearing up to host an invitation-only “grand reveal” event next week. This comes as the Bedrock project continues to attract tenants, with General Motors Co. planning to establish its headquarters in the complex.
Scheduled for October 10, the high-end event will feature building tours that highlight the office spaces, along with what organizers describe as luxury shopping and a vibrant nightclub atmosphere.
Recently, the event space within the development’s 12-story building, known as The Department at Hudson’s, has hosted several significant events, including prominent automotive and manufacturing conferences. Alo has also become the first retail tenant to open in the building.
The overall $1.4 billion development also includes the next-door skyscraper, the second highest in Michigan, which will eventually include a hotel and luxury condos.
