2 dead in shooting on Detroit’s west side Shooting appears to be murder-suicide, police say
DETROIT – Police are investigating a double shooting on Detroit’s west side early Thursday morning.
The shooting happened on Griggs Avenue near 8 Mile Road and Wyoming Avenue on Oct. 9 at around 4:30 a.m.
Detroit police said a man in his 20s and a woman in her 60s were killed in the shooting.
Police also said the shooting appeared to be a murder-suicide.
