Three men are accused of driving from Flint to Metro Detroit to carjack someone so they could use the car for a drive-by shooting.

They tried to carjack a man at a Canton Township gas station and then at his home, but were unsuccessful, according to authorities. Officials say several shots were fired at the victim.

Here’s what started postgame brawl between Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs on SNF

Safety Brian Branch sparked a postgame brawl after the Detroit Lions lost to the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

The Lions had an uncharacteristically mistake-prone game Sunday, between penalties, drops, and missed tackles. They ultimately fell to the Chiefs, 30-17, to snap their four-game winning streak and fall to 4-2.

Man shot by police in Macomb County, officer injured

A man is in the hospital after being shot by police early Monday morning, and an officer is recovering from minor injuries.

Authorities said the shooting happened at a police department on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville at around 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 13.

Weather: Patchy fog to start holiday, warming up in Metro Detroit

Metro Detroit is waking up to patchy fog this Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day, with visibility reduced to a quarter-mile or less in several communities in Southeast Michigan. Visibility readings were near zero early Monday in Howell, Adrian and near Ann Arbor. Fog was also reducing visibility in Flint, Lapeer, Port Huron, and Monroe.
