DETROIT – The University of Michigan marching band took the field during halftime of the Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Monday Night Football inside Ford Field.
Hail to the Victors was in full effect as the Lions went on to defeat the Buccaneers 24-9 during rivalry week as the Michigan Wolverines head to East Lansing to take on the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday (Oct. 25) inside Spartan Stadium.
The announcement came via the Ford Field X account, featuring a video of Lions edge rusher and former Wolverines star Aidan Hutchinson.
“I’m excited to see the Michigan Marching Band performing at halftime on Oct. 20, during Monday Night Football. I can’t wait to hear the best college fight song played at Ford Field, Go Blue,” Hutchinson said in the video.
