SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Some innocent bystanders were shot after police said the suspects exchanged gunfire at a gas station in Southfield.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday (Oct. 28) at 5:58 p.m. at the BP gas station at 24722 Southfield Road.

Police said they found two men with apparent gunshot wounds.

Officials said both victims, who were uninvolved parties, were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation indicated two suspects, who appear to know each other, entered the gas station and exchanged gunfire.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident.
