Griffin Claw Brewing Company’s Flying Buffalo Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is back.
It returns on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 12 p.m. along with three new limited-edition flavors available exclusively at both taproom locations, 575 South Eton Street in Birmingham and 2265 Crooks Road in Rochester Hills.
- Flying Buffalo Original Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout: 14% ABV - The prestigious Flying Buffalo Imperial Stout is transferred to freshly emptied bourbon barrels immediately after fermentation where it rests for nine months in Griffin Claw’s climate-controlled Barrel House under the strict supervision of the brewers and cellar team.
- Flying Buffalo - Dubai Chocolate: 13.7% - Aged nine months in bourbon barrels, it blends chocolate notes with Middle Eastern inspired flavors. Lactose adds creaminess, while pistachio, tahini and toasted kadayif bring nutty sweetness and depth. Rich, smooth and decadently unique.
- Flying Buffalo - Root Beer Float: 13.9% - aged nine months in bourbon barrels and brewed with creamy lactose and rich vanilla. The result is a smooth, full-bodied stout with classic root beer flavor, layered over deep roasted malts and a warm bourbon finish.
- Flying Buffalo - Stroopwafel: 14.2% - Aged nine months in bourbon barrels and infused with rich caramel, warm cinnamon and bold coffee. Inspired by the classic Dutch treat, this stout delivers a smooth, spiced and indulgently sweet experience with a bourbon-kissed finish.
All four Flying Buffalo variants will be available on tap and in 4-packs of 12oz cans. Quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
