In addition to DDOT, SMART will also be offering free rides for residents in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties on Election Day.

“Access to reliable transportation shouldn’t stand between anyone and their right to vote,” said Tiffany J. Gunter, SMART General Manager and CEO. “By offering free rides on Election Day, SMART is making it easier for everyone in our communities to participate in the electoral process. It’s another way we’re connecting people to what matters most, and that includes their voice at the ballot box.”
