Shooting on I-94, near I-75 in Detroit under investigation

No injuries were reported

DETROIT – Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting on I-94 in Detroit.

It happened just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, between I-75 and Chene Street.

According to authorities, an eastbound driver was in the right lane when a Dodge Charger in the center lane pulled up alongside them. The driver told police they saw muzzle flashes after seeing the passenger window of the Charger roll down.

The driver exited at Mt Elliot Street.

Police found two bullet holes in the driver’s side of the vehicle when the driver met them near Comerica Park.

No bullet casings were found on the freeway, and no injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
