Pills, codeine, 7 pounds of weed seized in Metro Detroit drug bust

Multiple arrests made in Macomb County operation

Police seized over 1,000 prescription pills (alprazolam, hydrocodone, oxycodone, and amphetamine), almost 300 suboxone strips, 3300 grams of bulk marijuana, multiple containers of liquid codeine and 13 firearms in an Oct. 30, 2025, drug bust. (WDIV)

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Multiple people have been taken into custody after a drug bust across Metro Detroit.

According to authorities, the County of Macomb Enforcement Team executed multiple search warrants on Oct. 30 after an investigation into a drug trafficking ring.

Police said they seized more than 1,000 prescription pills, multiple containers of liquid codeine, more than 7 pounds of marijuana, two stolen guns, a ghost gun and 10 other firearms.

More than $20,000 and three vehicles were also seized.

Police said multiple people were taken into custody and charges are pending.
