Southeast Michigan
Highs will be in the 40s on Saturday, but won’t exceed the upper 30s on Sunday. Bone-chilling wind chills will move into the area by Monday morning, with feels-like temperatures near 10 degrees and actual air temperatures in the 20s.
While this arctic blast brings a taste of winter, Metro Detroiters could also see snow this weekend.
Accumulating snow is possible late Saturday night into Sunday.
Northwestern suburbs of Metro Detroit could see snow mixing in on Sunday morning, while east-siders could likely just see rain.
Once temperatures fall to near freezing on Sunday evening, there is a more probable chance of seeing snow across the region.
Although this is a tricky forecast, and talking totals is a bit iffy, at this point, a dusting along the east side is possible, with the northwest suburbs possibly seeing up to 2 inches.

Southwest and central portions of Michigan
Portions of southwest and central Michigan could see 2 inches or more of snow this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service Grand Rapids, there are still some questions surrounding the location of the highest expected snowfall, but a belt of accumulations of more than 2 inches is favored in the Kalamazoo, Jackson and Flint areas.

Northern Michigan/Marquette
As the cold air brings lake-effect snow this weekend, snow is also possible Saturday night through Sunday for many areas of Northern Michigan, especially near the Lake Michigan and Lake Huron shorelines, according to the National Weather Service Gaylord.
This brings the chance of 2 or more inches of snow.
Our first accumulating snow chances arrive this weekend as cold air ushers in lake effect snow showers on Saturday. The National Weather Service in Marquette also said roads could become snow-covered and slippery due to the overnight temperatures falling below freezing Saturday night into Sunday, and advised drivers to prepare for winter weather.
Winter arrives for much of the U.P. this weekend as the coldest air so far this season brings lake effect snow showers to north and northwest wind snow belts. Localized heavier snowfall is possible Saturday/Sunday where dominant lake effect snow bands set up. #906wx #MIwx pic.twitter.com/56k4hFY3Wz
