TAYLOR, Mich. – A Detroit woman is accused of stabbing a teen multiple times at Southland Mall on Wednesday after an argument escalated, officials said.

Tiffany Rose Williams, 42, has been charged with assault with intent to murder, felonious assault, and assault with intent to do great bodily harm in connection with the stabbing of a 19-year-old girl from Taylor, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.

At 7:19 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, officers responded to the mall in the 23000 block of Eureka Road after receiving a report of a stabbing.

When they arrived, they found Williams leaving the mall and walking toward the parking lot. She was taken into custody at the scene.

Williams and the victim allegedly got into an argument inside a shoe store, the prosecutor’s office said. The argument escalated, and Williams pulled out a knife.

She allegedly stabbed the victim several times, injuring the teen.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated.

Williams is expected to be arraigned in the 23rd District Court in the afternoon on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.
