MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A Northville Township man pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Macomb County girl and is also accused of luring another Michigan teen to his home via Snapchat.
Charles Laurence Willis, 22, appeared before Judge Joseph Toia in Macomb County Circuit Court in Mt. Clemens on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, person 13 to 15 (a 15-year felony), according to a release from the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office.
Willis is required to register as a Tier 3 sex offender, which is a lifetime registration, and submit to HIV testing. He also cannot have any contact with minors.
“He is also subject to registration under Wyatt’s Law, which is a database of individuals who are convicted of criminal offenses related to children,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Macomb County case: Pretends to be 16, starts dating Roseville teen
Willis allegedly started dating the 14-year-old Roseville girl in 2023.
He told the teen and her mother that he was 16. It was later discovered that Willis was actually 21 at the time.
During this relationship with the teen, Willis allegedly had sexual relations with her multiple times.
After Willis was arraigned on charges in this case, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office also filed charges against him in connection with a separate case involving another 14-year-old girl.

On April 25, Willis allegedly paid for an Uber to bring a 14-year-old girl to his home from where she lived in Barry County, which is about two hours away.
He met this teen on Snapchat and had allegedly been talking to her for a while.
Willis allegedly sexually assaulted the girl and isolated her in the basement of his home for two days.
At about 5:30 a.m. on April 27, the teen was found alone walking with a blanket wrapped around her near 7 Mile and Sheldon roads.

Investigators confirmed Willis had prior contact with other law enforcement agencies related to sexually inappropriate behavior and alleged attempts to entice young girls, with the Roseville sex assault happening about five months before the Barry County teen was found walking alone.
What’s next
Willis is scheduled to be sentenced in the Macomb County case on Jan. 22, 2026.
His trial in Wayne County Circuit Court in connection with the other sexual assault is scheduled to begin on March 30, 2025.
