TAYLOR, Mich. – Police in Taylor have arrested 14 people in 2025 as part of a coordinated operation targeting child exploitation.
According to authorities, the department focused on identifying and intercepting people attempting unlawful activity involving minors through online communication.

Police said several suspects have already pleaded guilty to felony offenses related to these investigations.
Jacob Gozalka, a 30-year-old from Southgate, reportedly pled guilty to attempted child sexually abusive commercial activity.
Richard Jon Wandt, a 35-year-old from Monroe, reportedly pled guilty to accosting a child for immoral purposes.
Wvalter Orozco, a 39-year-old from Detroit, reportedly pled guilty to using a computer to commit a crime.
Several other people arrested face pending court proceedings on felony charges such as attempted child sexually abusive activity, accosting a child and using a computer to commit a crime.
Police said those charged include Johnathan Lee McKissack of Romulus, Jonathan James Woodard of Taylor, Carlos Javier Gardea Vega of Lincoln Park, Imran Hussain of Riley, Choudhury Marzan of Hamtramck, Michael Joseph Miller of Westland, Ayman Ali Alghazali of Detroit, Jamil Quintel Brown of Ypsilanti -- who is also charged with carrying a concealed weapon -- Jeffrey Brian Hellems of Canton, Michael Eugene Price of Flat Rock and Paul Buliga of Taylor.
