Here’s where you can watch Detroit Tree Lighting on Nov. 21, 2025

DETROIT – The 22nd annual Detroit Tree Lighting is taking over Campus Martius in Downtown Detroit on Friday, and you can watch it live right here.

WDIV is your home for the Tree Lighting on Nov. 21, 2025, with a two-hour special from 7-9 p.m. Our newscasts at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. will also be live from Campus Martius ahead of the Tree Lighting.

Campus Martius will transform from summer to winter right before your eyes. Our expanded coverage will include behind-the-scenes content on Local 4+ and ClickOnDetroit.

• 4-4:30 p.m.: First at 4, live from Campus Martius.
• 5-6 p.m.: Local 4 News at 5, live from Campus Martius.
• 6-6:30 p.m.: Local 4 News at 6, live from Campus Martius.
• 7-9 p.m.: Detroit Tree Lighting special.
• 9-10 p.m.: Hob Nobble Gobble.
• 10-11 p.m.: Backstory: The Edmund Fitzgerald.
• 11-11:30 p.m.: Local 4 News at 11.
