Shooting near theater at Partridge Creek injures at least 1

Police seek suspected gunman

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police in Macomb County responded to an alleged shooting at the Mall at Partridge Creek.

Police confirmed the shooting took place near the MJR theater at about 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23.

At least one person has been shot and transferred to a hospital for treatment. They are expected to survive.

Authorities said the shooting is believed to be an isolated event between two people and there is no current threat to the public.

Police are looking for a person of interest described a Black man wearing a green hooded-sweatshirt with white flowers and jeans.

The Clinton Township Police Department is insisting residents keep their doors and windows shut as they look for the suspected gunman.

A representative from The Mall at Partridge Creek released the following statement:

“We are currently working with local law enforcement to gather details on what occurred during tonight’s tree lighting event. Guest and staff safety is our top priority, and we will continue to collaborate with Clinton Township Police Department as they investigate this situation.”
