Dee Warner murder: Husband to appear in court today -- what to know

LENAWEE COUNTY, Mich. – The husband charged in the death of his wife, who disappeared four years ago, is expected to appear in court on Thursday.

Dee Warner went missing in April 2021. Her husband, Dale, was charged in June 2024 after human remains found on his Lenawee County property were determined to be Dee’s.

Dale was charged with murder and tampering with evidence.

On Dec. 4, he is expected to appear in Lenawee County Circuit Court for an evidentiary hearing, meaning the judge will hear the prosecution’s evidence against the defendant and make a decision on a disputed factual issue before trial.

His trial is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2026.
