Man fatally shot during altercation at gas station on Detroit’s west side; suspect at large

DETROIT – A man was fatally shot during an altercation at a gas station on Detroit’s west side.

The shooting occurred on Thursday (Dec. 4) at 7 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue at approximately 7:30 p.m., where police said two men were involved in the altercation.

During the confrontation, police said the suspect produced a firearm and fatally shot the victim.

Police said the suspect fled the scene and is currently being sought.
