The incident occurred on Thursday, Dec. 4, when cars were blocking the bus lane at Bemis Jr. High School. A school safety officer asked Young to move his car.
Young allegedly refused, and when the officer walked in front of his car, Young moved the car forward, hitting the officer’s legs.
The principal was called to assist, and when he also asked Young to move his car, he refused again.
Then, when the principal was in front of his car, Young hit him three times.
Young was arraigned on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, and he was issued a $10,000 cash/surety bond, no 10%.
In addition, Young cannot have any contact with the complaining witnesses or enter the premises of Bemis Jr. High School.
He also cannot have any weapons.
Young’s probable cause conference is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 11, and his preliminary examination is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025.
“The conduct alleged in this case is shocking and completely unacceptable,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. “Using a vehicle as a weapon is extraordinarily dangerous and will not be tolerated. My office is committed to holding offenders fully accountable and will pursue justice on behalf of victims and the public.”
