Vegan pop-up finds a permanent home in Corktown

DETROIT – Street Beet’s first brick-and-mortar location will open its doors in Corktown soon.

The popular vegan comfort food spot previously ran as a pop-up.

Street Beet is known for its plant-based tacos, burgers, and Southern classics. The menu also features nonalcoholic drinks and vintage arcade games for a unique dining experience.

The new restaurant will be located at the former Bobcat Bonnie’s site on Michigan Avenue, which closed abruptly in March.

The restaurant will open at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec 11.
