Macomb County man charged with multiple felonies after road rage shooting

Authorities seize badge and firearms from suspect’s home

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – A 21-year-old man from Clinton Township is facing multiple felonies after reportedly shooting a gun during an episode of road rage in November.

According to authorities, Logan Shea was reportedly driving in Sterling Heights when he displayed a badge and pointed a gun at another driver. The victim called 911 and gave police a description of Shea, his white Chevrolet Silverado, and its license plate number.

While police were speaking with the victim, additional units reported hearing gunshots about four miles north. The vehicle involved was also described as a white Silverado.

Officers went to the address associated with the license plate, which was Shae’s home, where they reportedly seized a badge and multiple guns.

Shae was charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle, assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of felony firearm.

His preliminary exam has been scheduled for Jan. 12, 2026.
