According to the suit, Clinton Township Officer Broc Setty approached Reiff, who then ran away.

The officer chased Reiff and reportedly shouted, “Whoo, baby, I’m gonna tase you, bro,” before catching up and punching him in the face.

Reiff’s attorneys said the punch ruptured his eyeball and broke several bones in his face. Testimony described the injury as his eye being “squished like a grape.”

He allegedly required multiple surgeries and has metal screws in his face permanently.

On Monday, Dec. 15, a jury awarded $4 million in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages.
