MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A Macomb County man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly robbing several people at gunpoint.

Anthony Terrell Patterson, 47, from Clinton Township, allegedly went into a business in Eastpointe on Dec. 5 and displayed a handgun while forcing the employees and customers to lie on the ground.

Patterson then allegedly robbed five employees and two customers of their money and took a driver’s license and debit card.

He ran away from the business soon after, but was later arrested.

Patterson was arraigned on Dec. 23 and was charged with seven counts of armed robbery, eight counts of felony firearm, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of possessing a firearm as a prohibited person. He was remanded into custody.

He is expected to appear in court on Jan. 6 for a probable cause conference.
