Brothers stabbed at Romulus hotel over parking dispute, family says

Two brothers say they were stabbed in a hotel foyer in Romulus Saturday night. Local 4 spoke to one of the brothers as he works to recover.

The stabbing unfolded around 6 p.m. Saturday at the Wyndham Garden Hotel near Detroit Metro Airport, the family said.

“My little brothers were swimming in the pool with my mom,” Anthony Hagen said.

Power was restored after at least a hundred homes were without electricity in Clarkston for nearly three days. Local 4 sat down with one frustrated couple on Sunday night.

On Christmas Day, the Standard family had their four grandchildren over to their home. The Christmas tree was shining bright until the entire home went dark on Friday afternoon.

Weather: Whipping winds, slick roads, snow squalls possible in Metro Detroit

We remain under a 4Warn Weather Alert due to high winds, possible slick roads and snow squalls. Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph are forecasted today, with a few gusts possibly up to 60 mph. A high wind warning is in effect until 9 p.m. for all of Southeast Michigan. Temperatures will sharply decline through the morning.

Widespread snow showers will occur today, with some snow squalls possible.
