We remain under a 4Warn Weather Alert due to high winds, possible slick roads and snow squalls. Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph are forecasted today, with a few gusts possibly up to 60 mph.

High wind warning in effect

A high wind warning is in effect until 9 p.m. for all of Southeast Michigan. Temperatures will sharply decline through the morning.

Snow squalls, tumbling temperatures

Wind chills drop into the teens and single digits. Widespread snow showers will occur today, with some snow squalls possible.
